Phrickin' Photoblog Phriday-Saint Louie, Part Three...

Holy pee, it's frickin' FRIDAY already! Man, this week went fast (at least I HOPE it went fast...I'm typing this up on Tuesday for posting on Friday and...Well...So what if it's a lie, right?)...Anyhow, it's once again time for me to unveil this week's Phrickin' Photoblog for your collective picturey enjoyment...This week is the final week of our 3-part "pictures taken while I was way sick and fixin' to die in St. Louis" family of Photoblogs. Since I've babbled on long enough about things that AREN'T pictures, HERE COME THEM PHOTOGRAPHS! if you don't know by now about the clicking and the biggering, then I just can't help you...

Squee at the Arch Riverfront
Here's the wife, giddy with excitement because we're done with the arch and the riverboat and all of that which means that we were just that much closer to gettin' to the Blues game that she was so stoked to go to. In the background there you can see the Casino Queen which, if you believe the guy from the riverboat, is the largest riverboat around...Of course, the guy also pointed out a wall while we were on the cruise that appeared to have a mural on it and his description went something like "they hired some artists to come in and paint that up with Mississippi River wildlife so they drawed up some snakes and stuff. I dunno. I ain't gone and looked at it."

Carryin' The Torch for JUSTICE!
Not far from our hotel was the 22nd Judicial Court of Missouri. This court had two very majestic statues which flanked the front doors and I have the pleasure of showing one of them to you now...See that torch? That's the torch of JUSTICE! Also, see that book? That's the...um...Book of CONSTI-TVTION. I don't think I've read that book...Probably should take a look sometime...Maybe before I get burned by the torch of JUSTICE!..

That there is the Savvis Center!
Even CLOSER to our hotel was THIS large building, commonly known as the Savvis Center where the St. Louis Blues play. That's right, kids, we were about to go inside and enjoy all that a late season NHL game had to offer...Oh, yeah...Also see that one guy get his number retired...

there's that damn Chris Pronger again...
Dammit! There's that big oaf Chris Pronger again! I think that guy owes me money or somethin'...Either way, we booed him good all night...As a sidenote, Pronger is a HUGE man, like 6' 7" and 'round 250. I only say mean things about him (the big oaf) because he doesn't know where I live...

Raise that banner, boys!
And here's where we end the St. Louis Photoblog theme, with the entire reason that I took my wife there: the raising of the #2 banner in honor of Al Macinnis. The ceremony was pretty darn good but, unfortunately, we were at the other end of the rink and the glass and the netting made getting a good quality picture near impossible. Still, there it is...

So that's that! Hope you've enjoyed seeing the photographic proof of our big St. Louis road trip and hopefully you'll all have a great weekend...Thanks for stopping by, kids!..
